Just bought a 'theKube' MP3 Player from 7 Eleven store near my house. I bought it because using PSP to listen to songs in shuffle mode is very troublesome. I will usually keylock my PSP when listening to songs but when I wanna change to another song I need to unlock and lighten up the screen. I think it kinda LCD pixel damaging, keeping on and off the screen. That's why I went to buy an cheap budget mp3 player just for listening to songs in shuffle mode.

It costs $34.90 and come with 5 colours: Pink, Baby blue, Yellow, Black and White. I thought of buying the blue one but at the 7 Eleven store I went only have Red (Limited Edition, the store assistant said. Its button in white, eww.. Singapore flag..), Baby Green (I dunno why there is Green now.. But the colour just sucks), the normal Black and White, and Yellow. So I bought the yellow one. Kinda cool lah, The earphone that come with it is yellow too (even the earphone sponge protectors o.O ).

It comes with an earphone and its sponge protectors, a no-brand 2GB MicroSD, USB charging cable (even my $400 PSP don't come with it. I am cheated, I know, just shuddup!) and MicroSD card reader.

It can play in sequence and shuffle mode. Sequence is kinda troublesome, needing to click all the way to get to the songs you want but Shuffle MP3 player is liddat right? One thing good about MP3 with LCD screen. XD

As it operates using a external memory storage, you can change the MicroSD to any sizes you want. It is also small and light, you can just pluck in the earphone into your ears and let the player dangling freely without feeling it. LOL! And the audio quality is good and can go very loud, unlike PSP, you can't hear anything unless you max the volume. It has no keylock function but you are unlikely to accidentally press it as you need to exert enough pressure on the buttons to activate it.

But as it is shaped like a dice, the buttons are placed opposite each other so it kinda easily to press both buttons at the same time. And you also cannot fast-forward or fast-rewind the song. It does look kinda fragile and at this price, you won't expect it to be durable as well.

I will still use PSP to listen to songs in repeating mode and find specific songs I wanted to listen. And not forgetting, the loudspeaker it has (even though it's not loud).
