I will work harder for my studies this semster, I have promised myself. I was very slacked during first year and lazy in doing projects. Last minute work, sub-standard quality work, unmotivated and lazy. I want to get A for project-based coursework!! That's my goal! The best I got is B+ from marketing and all because we have hardworking groupmates like Hazimah, Bernice, Yvonne, Shiwen and especially Yunhui who managed to find pictures for us on our parts. Thank alot! =D

Other most worrying stuff is Understanding Arts. Damn! I totally have no clue how to start! And now then I realised I am a 'maths' person then a 'theory' person and then an 'arts' person. French seems to be much more easy now. And Arts is a totally waste of money. I have spent $7+ on Mosaic-making matericals. Then $4 on the Arts Museum admission fee and who knows how much on the Mask-painting?! Damn it! Nothing is worse than spending money and furthermore on useless stuffs. (No offense to arts lovers. That's my own opinion!) This is the most spend-money CDS, I assure you! Haiz!

I am going to work on THIS!

The shades of green.. I cannot how to match..
The reflection on the ladybird.. I cannot what to use..
Everything just gives me headache...

I bought alot of different shades of green because I don't know which ones to use. (I dun even know whether I arranged correctly according to their shades. XD )
~

Seriously, I tell you, I spent more than the pocket money I am given everyday. I am futhermore part-time-jobless! I am spending on my SAVINGS! NO!!!!!!! I spent mostly on food, of course. Last week, I haven been to subway x2, Gelare, bowling. I need to retain myself from luxury because I am not born to be rich and not born to have high metabolism (which means I gain weight easily). XD
~

A malt candy, my sister got from her friend. It's like tainted glass, is it? As I was researching on it, I came upon this. Maybe her friend bought it there. XD

I think I'm dying. I am not being emo or what, I am serious. Haven't I been complaining that I was breathless and feel tired easily? And now, I know why I kept complaining I am old and all, because small movements like from squatting to standing require alot of effort and I will be out of breath then my heart will beat like I just ran. Maybe it's a signal from my body that I got illness or something. I am feeling dizzy now, even! LOL! Maybe I am thinking too much, a psychological effect, I dunno. LOL! Or maybe, I am too fat? You know fat people always run out of breath, tired easily.... haiz...

Tohoshinki (Dong Bang Shin Ki in Japan)'s holding their 4th concerts all over Japan. It's started last week and all the way till July 5th. In total, there will be 21 "The Secret Code" Concerts.

And the last venue of their concerts will be at Tokyo Dome which can hold up to 55,000 people! (Other venues can only hold up to 10,000+ except for Saitama Super Arena which can hold up to 37,000.) Tokyo Dome is also the largest concert facility in Japan which alot of international stars such as Michael Jackson, Rain, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston have performed their concerts in.

Tokyo Dome

Not to forget that Dong Bang Shin Ki has also have their 3rd Live Mirotic Tour to complete. Started in Seoul in February, then Nanjing, China. And now, left with Thailand, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and Kuala Lumpur. Some of them actually are in-between "The Secret Code" Concerts' marathon so they basically have concerts to perform every week till mid-July! LOL!

If you realise by now, their Korea-based activites like 3rd Live Mirotic Tour are more "international' and their Japan-based activities like The Secret Code Concert
are mainly for Japan. Just like their offical korea fanclub name, 'Cassiopeia' is usually used by the fans in Korea and other countries and whereas, their Japan fanclub name, 'Bigeast' is usually for the Japan's fans.

Usually after the tour, they will come out with its concert's DVD. I predict that 'Tohoshinki 4th Live Tour 2009 -The Secret Code-' DVD will be on the last concert which is at Tokyo Dome. And the 'TVXQ THE 3rd ASIA TOUR CONCERT-MIROTIC' DVD will of course be the concert @ Seoul.

From the fancam videos which fans have took during the concerts, I really anticipate the DVDs to be out. But the last 'Tohoshinki 3rd Live Tour 2008 -T-' DVD costs about 60 bucks! XD I totally don't have money!

Their 'products' are damn expensive. Thank god, I am not those crazy fans who bought EVERY SINGLE of their 'stuffs', even the SAME album with different versions and in total can cost up to S$200. Totally insane! Their latest Japan album, 'best'(most expensive) version of 'The Secret Code' can cost up to S$90!! (for those Japan-imported ones, those manufactured in Singapore costs about S$20+.) Since I don't really like the songs from that album, I have not buy it. See? I won't that 'hard-core' as you see. XD Or maybe, I love money more.. =.=

My first post after school starts. I will continue from my Haw par Villa. This part 2 is rather boring because as like what I said, the only thing left interesting in Haw Par Villa is the 10 Courts of Hell.

Memorial of the founders.

Woman cruelly slashed by a man, her husband? I not sure... ^^;
You should look more closely to the woman statue, it's rather scary, her expression...

Erotic women seducing a monk.
Actually, there are a stretch of 'scenes' of famous 'Journey to the West'. This is one of them depicting some demons which transformed to pretty women to seduce 'Tang San Zhan', the monk. It is said that if Tang San Zhan's flesh when eaten, allows them to be immortal.

Beautifully structured pond which allows visitors to pass across.
The still water is full with algae and producing mosquitoes.

A huge nose Guanyin, Goddess of Mercy.

A pagoda which Sirong and me tried to climb.
Lois being annoyed by those mosquitoes, refused to explore any longer. Therefore, Sirong and me continued to have fun despite of those idiotic mosquitoes.

Chinese Mermaids. It's rather bold to have half-naked statues done by the olden days chinese who were known to be more conservative. And I should say it is bolder than those western ones, those western mermaids have their blonde hair covering their bosoms but the chinese ones have their black hair tied back. LOL!
I thought Mermaids are from western fairy tales. Chinese have it too?

Pond with sea creatures and lots of algae.
If you notice it now, this part of Haw Par Villa is about the sea and the creatures.

Snail woman.

Pigs that Sirong very fond of.

Exit of Haw Par Villa.

The Differences of Haw Par Villa.

From the Entrance/Exit, you can see the 10 Courts of Hell from there.
A dragon was added on the outer of 10 Courts of Hell when Haw Par Villa was converted into a Theme Park. It was removed and now the outer of 10 Courts of Hell is in odd shape.
The ticket station is nailed shut.

When the dragon was added on, it looked very magnificent because it was gigantic.

The used-to-be Entrance of 10 Courts of Hell.
You are supposed to walk into the mouth of the dragon, very cool uh?

I believe this photo is even before the dragon is added on... I am not sure...

This is an old news, some even went to my house for Mahjong liao. But the journey to purchase the Mahjong Table is kinda interesting.

My sister volunteered to sponser for the Mahjong Table, so after a research online, I found a factory near my house, at Paya Lebar. They produced Mahjong set and Casino Chips and sells things related to them.

And so my brother, Kaijing and I went in search for it.

An old factory.

The Cargo lift. It looked like those used to film horror films.

The corridor towards Swee Huat Plastic Co.

Products on sales displayed.
I used my lousy handphone to take some of the photos.

PURPLE MAHJONG! DAMN NICE!

DAMN UGLY! Looks like those plates and bowls we used in Hawker Centres. XD

Shelves of books Mahjong Sets.

The place is stacked with cartons.

We took bus back to save money. XD Ya, it's embarassing...

My brother looks like chinese coolie. (Coolie: an unskilled laborer employed cheaply, esp. one brought from Asia.)

He was able to carry up and down the bridge at ease. Just like coolie.

Shiwen and I took Understanding Arts as one of our cds. We are supposed to come out with a picture we are supposed to work on by this week. I am still worried about it. It is very hard to score for this subject even though it is very fun. We are to visit Singapore Museum at some point of this Semster too.

Some of the noob Mosaic pieces we done in class..

We hurrily added on the packet of fries at the last second.
There shouldnt be any overlappings on the actual mosaic arts.

A better done Mosaic piece we done with 2 other classmates.
The middle part of wing is done at last second. XD
That, of course, was not the right way of mosaic-ing. And it was done by yours truly. ^^;

On Labour Day, half-copyri9hts were helping out at Ebenzer's sister Birthday BBQ Party at Pasir Ris Park. Thinking that BBQ should be at night, I never thought of applying Sunblock. And that brings about consequences that I totally hate. GETTING TANNED! I took damn long to turn fair and now, I am dark again.. But I totally enjoyed that day. =)

We are supposed to be at Ebenzer's house at 10am. So I texted Kaijing to make sure there is no wrong on the timing. I thought it was wrong because I was thinking it was an BBQ. LOL! And then, I realised that most of the guests were Primary 5 classmates of Ebenzer's Sister, Unica. And of course, they cant to be out to too late and the party started in early afternoon. I totally forget that most guests are children. XD

So after breakfast/lunch together, we went to the venue to set the party up. Blowing balloons, hiding clue cards around the park.

Preparing balloons...

Decorating Pavilion with balloons.

I am too light! I am flying away. XD

Ebenzer's father came out with the games and planned the party. The oarty was totally well done!

There were alot of children, more than 20 of them. They were grouped to play games. Half-copyri9hts were given each a group to 'look' after them.

We were exhausted running with and after them, playing with them and controlling some of the mischievous ones. You know how children are like when at Primary schools. Who like who, all those. So we started to 'gossip' with them and made fun of them.

And after all the party, half-copyri9hts went to Tampines Starbucks with the fund provided by Ebenzer's Dad.

I realised Starbucks always patronised by weird and attitude people. Once I have posted about an incident that happened at East Point Starbucks if you remember. And without fail, this time, we half-copyri9hts met more weird people at Starbucks.

We went to Tamp Starbucks at about 8pm. It was, of course, full with people as usual and furthermore, it was the public holiday. There was a lady using a laptop (another lady with laptop, irritating people!) occupying a 4-sofa seaters space all by herself and have her son occupying a 2-seaters at another side of Starbucks, doing his homework. This kind of people is totally intolerable! Only she was consuming drinks and her son was not but she occupied up to 6 seaters. I wondered how Starbucks earned money like that, people occupying seats more than 3 hours. She was there before us and after we left. If Starbucks staff are able to chase people out, how many customers can they gain after giving up that customer.

My friends went to 'ask' her whether her son was still sitting the 2-seaters after her son went to her at the 4-seaters. She reluctantly gave up her son's seat when my friends 'asked' whether the rest of her 4-seaters are available.

I think Starbucks shouldnt offer power points to people so that people using laptops will leave when they went out of battery. A full laptop battery can last about 3 hours and that's kinda really long. Ya, providing power points attract customers but also lose alots of potential customers who are there really to have a cup of coffee and then go after finishing it.

Haiz, Whatever!
