| Monday, June 29, 2009 1:44 am People who are uninterested on Kpop can give this post a miss. Then the conversation led to the looks (physical appearances) of some members of korean boybands. (As you see, looks are always a great factor whether people will be successful in the media world. (Unless, they are really talented.)(Don't you dare disagree with me. Of my just-turned 18 years of experience in life tells me that.) ) Then I said that I think they can make it far because Shinee has talents plus they are handsome. Then Shiyun said that she only thinks that the main vocalist is handsome. Then I asked her whether she was saying the right person, the main vocalist. And she insisted it is. And I went to find his photo and she double-confirmed he is the one. Of course, I was O.o . (No offense to the main vocalist and his fans, I just think that the group has better looking members. So sorry.)  The boyband, Shinee. From left: Onew, Taemin, Jonghyun, Minho, Key. So I started to show her individual photos of Shinee members. But she still said that the main vocalist, Jonghyun is better looking. I am like, "Why you so different from people one? All people thinks the whoever, whoever, whoever is more good looking..." Then at this situation, I used my last 'special power combo'. Nichkhun from 2PM, also a rather new boyband like Shinee.  Nichkhun from 2PM. Her reply was "this is the 2pm one is it? this guy... not nice." I O.O! Although I dun idolise him but I have to admit that he is damn good looking. People with eyes can see for themselves. (No offense to those who can't see it. XD ) Haiz, I totally dun understand. So after all the argument that went on for hours, a conclusion was made. Her rankings based on 'looks' of various members of various boybands (in decreasing order): Yunho (DBSK) Jaejoong (DBSK) Jonghyun (Shinee) Jokwon (2AM) Key (Shinee - Extreme right from photo) Junsu (DBSK) Minho (F4 - Among the F4, she thinks he is most handsome.) Minho (Shinee -2nd from the right from photo) Onew (Shinee - Extreme left from photo) Jaebeom (2PM) Nichkhun (2PM) (Wad this gal is thinking???!!!!!!!!!!!! )  Jokwon from 2AM. I like his 'putting in his best' in every performance. Her rankings based on liking: 2AM Jokwon (His character. Funny, Dare to express himself. Hardworking.) DBSK Yunho (Dances very well.) Shinee Key (Because he is 3 days older than her. =.= ) DBSK Junsu (Hardworking also.) DBSK Jaejoong (Dunno. When prompt that he is good looking. Answer: Yes. ) Shinee Jonghyun (Dunno. When prompt that he is good looking. Answer: Yes. ) F4 Minho (Indifferent - In this chart because he was in the previous chart.) I took quite a long time.) Nichkhun (2PM) Jaejoong (DBSK) Key (Shinee) Onew (Shinee) Minho (Shinee) Minho (F4) Junsu (DBSK) Yunho (DBSK) Jaebeom (2PM) Jokwon (2AM) Jonghyun (Shinee) Based on liking (This is easier.) Junsu (DBSK) - Like his singing and voice timbre (音色). His efforts in everything he do. Jaejoong (DBSK) -Great looks and sing well. Jokwon (2AM) - Sing well. Heck care of his image on stage when it's time to. His effort. Onew (Shinee) - Looks cute and clumsy. Sing well. Like his voice timbre better. Jonghyun (Shinee) - Sing well. Very unique vocal abilities and voice timbre. Jaebeom (2PM) - The capability of doing everything well : Singing, dancing, leading etc. Nichkhun (2PM) - Good looking. Key (Shinee) - Good looking, esp with brown hair. Indifferent towards them (No feeling) (Not arranged in ranks.) Yunho (DBSK) Minho (Shinee) Minho (F4) (I did not include Super Junior because I dun think Shiyun is familiar with them.) I did not share my rankings with Shiyun. I just came out with them after she went offline to sleep. Now is 4.50am. Tomorrow, will be meeting Shiwen for studying in afternoon. And meeting Lois in the evening. They will have to rank it too. =))) Peijun, your rankings too if you come by this post. =)) Sorry, suju fans, no super junior members in it. 5.34am: I was looking through my old blog posts and came about the post where I mentioned I bought the Harry Potter Book 7, Deathly Hallow. The blog post dated 11 April 08. LOL! After more than a year of buying it, I have not even open the plastic cover that wrapped around it. XD Ridiculous! Run midnight oil tonight for sure. Okay okay, recommendation, recommendation!!! Absolute Boyfriend (絶対彼氏 Zettai Kareshi)  A Japanese drama now watching on local TV at Friday night! It is a mixture of sci-fiction, comedy and romance drama. It's about a woman getting a robot boyfriend, designed to be her ideal boyfriend, for a free trial. People who are looking for something nice to watch and things to kill time, here it is!  Soshi, Riiko and Night. I have watched it before online a few month ago (not sure when but certainly less than a year and after watching Cyborg She, a movie). I even read the manga too. But as the local TV is showing the drama, I decided to re-watch it again. Of course, re-watching it online, I can't stand the slow pace the TV is showing. 2 eps per week when you can finish it in 2 days. (Total- 11 episodes.)  Going out on their last date. Riiko does not know about Night's condition. But what's different this time is that a special episode (about a movie length) of Absolute Boyfriend is released (March 2009), about one year after the drama was out. It means that it wasn't out when I was watching it for one first time. I was already crying when I was watching the drama ending (even though that the second time I watched), I was even crying harder when I was watching the special episode (first time watching).  Gaku Namikiri, the creator of Nightly-Series 01. In short, he created Night. This is shown in the special episode. This drama is damn comedic. Okay, spoiler ahead.. If you are watching or going to watch, please don't let me spoil you. =) (Highlight below to see spoiler!!) .......................................... It was sad when Night, the robot was going to "die" because he started to develop human ego which overworked his system and started to overheat. But in that special episode, I was not really keen of seeing Night revived. You know, he was a robot after all. =/ But of course, he was revived. But when he asked to have himself completely destroyed because he knew that he cannot give the girl in person normal happiness and he loved her so much to the point that it hurts (as a robot, you must imagine). And the reason why he was here in this world was to love her (designed to be her ideal boyfriend) so he asked his creator to have him destroy completely so that he cannot be revived again. Whoa, at that part, it was so sad. He was like a human in a robot body. He really cried in the end when departing with that girl. Not the kind of 'crying' he cried in the drama but really, really shed tears (once again, he is a robot, he can't shed tear in the first place). .......................................... Will get red at the white area. Be safe, wear specs. Last week Friday. Celebrated Erwin's birthday. KTV. Ate dinner. 'Ton'ed at a Puggol park bus stop. Playing and drinking. Erwin and JY vomited. Shocked me. Monday. KTV again. With Lois & Sirong. Long time no see each other. Some random photos taken.     Thursday. Went Tamp Safra Mindcafe with 0.5 Copyri9hts. Played 'Cluedo'. Damn fun. Should try playing if you never play before. Of course, played taboo. Went back playing 'Cluedo', it's too fun. Went to Tampines Mall for dinner. Wanted to buy 'cluedo but too expensive. Dropped the idea.  A must-take photo with Cluedo. Damn fun. Recommend to everyone. Playing Big Taboo.   Doing CPR to the puppet. Don't try this at home. thanks.   Using puppet to guess words. Fun. And funny.    Cruel abuser. Tied the limbs in knots. Smiling wickedly. Matt gave the impression he was the accomplice.  After abusing. Ebenzer is eating it. He is a cannibal. Beware of him.   Fun, the Big Taboo. Walked around Tampines Mall after dinner. Walked to Times. Browsed books. Came across a book that seemed to be worth reading. Research online, finding e-book. Google sucks. 4shared rules in downloading illegal stuffs. Found the e-book. Read it overnight till 5. The book is called "The Reader". I recommend to any book lover. Seriously.... At the ending, it's very sad. I was weeping non-stop in early morning while reading. It's about a woman (31) and a boy (15) getting into an relationship. Then the women suddenly disappeared. And then when boy met her again was in a court. The boy was an law student and the woman called to court because she was some sort of guard of the concentration camp before she met the boy when he was 15. (This story is on Germany and the Post-Nazi period.) She was sentenced for life. The main story is after she went to jail. Go read yourself. It was so sad. The way the author wrote this book is like as if it was a true story that happened to him. Something like 'Memoir of a Geisha' but they are both fiction novels. Give the impression to the readers that they are reading true story. The book is also made into a movie, also called 'The Reader'(2008). Acted by Kate Winslet. People who dun read, can watch it. I have not watch it. But I am planning to.  'The Reader' cover  The version I saw in Times. Showing Kate Winslet. People who are still young or still reading books for teens. Shouldnt attempt to read this book. XDDDDDDDDDDD Short and sweet, my post, this time. =) People involved in photos, dun bother to save these photos. SAMSUNG OMNIA!!! I don't mind throwing away my PSP for it. My PSP costed me $400. (Ya, Ya.. cheated... whatever! Shuddup!) Maybe I am just crazy. Ignore me... iTouch is cool too... XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD  WHOA! WHOA! I hope someday an Omnia will fall from the sky... XD. JK lah, JK...... I damn-it like the design. Very long and less-wide than others. I was blogging for the last 4 hours and suddenly the whole post went missing and only left the top part. I am terribly sadden by it. PS. Junsu got the most number of fans among all the korean boybands' members in Korea. Congrats.... |
