Watched " Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix " with Prissy, Kaijing, Matt and Paige yesterday @ TM GV. My comment is that the movie is too brief, way too brief. They skipped many chapters from the book and they changed some parts of the story.

In the movie, ..

1) it does not mention Ron and Hermione become Prefects and Ron joinning Quidditch.

2) Neville found the Room of Requirements instead of Dobbly, the free house-elf.

3) Cho Chang became the culprit of revealing the DA's serects instead of her friend, Marietta Edgecombe .

4) it does not mention that Umbridge is the one who sent the dementors.

5) it does not mention the package Sirus gave Harry when Harry was returning back to School afer Christmas. ( Contains a mirror that can use to communicate with Sirus but Harry forgot all about the package until Sirus's death.)

6) it did not show Neville Longbottom's parents in the Hospital. ( Bellatrix Lestrange tortured them to insanity many years ago. )

7) Lucius Malfoy broke the prophecy instead of Harry. ( It's in Neville's robes when Harry pulled and tore Nev's robes. It fell and smashed. )

8) it does not mention Kreacher, Sirus's house elf lied to Harry Potter that Sirus is not at Grimmauld Place when he tried to communicate with Sirus through floo network by only putting his head in the fire.

9) it does not mention Harry's interview about Voldemort printed in Quibbler, Luna Lovegood's Dad's magazine.

10) it does not mention the headmaster's office sealed itself against Umbridge when she became the new headmistress. XDDDD

11) it does not mention Inquisitorial Squad is able to dock points from houses.

12) the dementors incident happened in the day instead of night.



Understand better:

- Dumbledore does not look at Harry because he knew that Voldemort might try to possess Harry and spy on Dumbledore. " I thought I saw a shadow of him ( voldemort ) stir behind your eyes...."

# Harry and Neville's parents defied Voldemort three times.
# Harry and Neville born at the end of July.
# Voldemort MARKed Harry as his equal when he was a baby, with a scar.
# The power is Love.
# Only one of them survives, Harry or Voldemort.

Voldemort attacked baby Harry as he heard the prophecy. By killing his baby "equal" , he thought that he will be formiable as ever. But instead of killing Harry, he marked Harry as his equal. The power Voldemort does not have is Love, the power Harry got and from fact that his dad and mom died protecting him.
